At the meeting of Helsington Parish Council held on Tuesday 10 April 2012 it was resolved that the Land Allocations document is considered to be legally compliant.

At the meeting of Helsington Parish Council held on Tuesday 10 April 2012 it was resolved that the Land Allocations document is considered to be sound.
At the Parish Meeting of Helsington held on Tuesday 10 April 2012 it was requested by the members of electorate who attended the meeting for the Parish Council to add the following to this response :
a) 20 members of the electorate voted to support the proposed development on site RN213
b) 17 members of the electorate voted to support the proposed development on site RN213 only if it takes place after 2015
c) 31 members of the electorate voted to oppose the proposed development on site RN213
d) 55 members of the electorate voted to request the Parish Council to respond to SLDC in accordance with the voting at the Parish Meeting
