As a resident of the small hamlet at Greenside I have some concerns about the proposed development
1) EN143. This has B1 B2 status, it would be inappropriate for any heavy industry in this area, any noise would affect all surrounding houses, and would lead to increased traffic on small country lanes. There are already unused industrial units locally, is this really needed?
2) RN128. I support the need for housing including some affordable homes, I can see that the proposed site would be suitable. I would be concerned about the number of houses within the proposed area and the proximity of this development to the existing properties
In conclusion, I would suggest the dwellings be built on the land furthest from the existing properties which is currently proposed for EN 143 for employment, and this part of the plan to be abandoned.
Do you think that your area needs new or improved community facilities? If so, what sort of facilities and where? Please explain the types of improved and/or new community facilities your community may need in the next 15 years
I understand the bus service is to be withdrawn, this makes no sense in a village with no other public transport, especially if it is to increase in size. There are no services within the village, so transport to surrounding villages is even more important.
