Please explain your reasons
Building more houses adjoining Low Meadow would create an issue with respect to parking and increase in traffic in a tiny hamlet with no public footpaths or community parking. Hills and curves in the road do not facilitate on road parking as this would make the highway unsafe for local residents and those using the road when walking children to school.
The community already suffers from excess heavy vehicles from the quarry and to subject the village to building work that could continue for a number of years would be a major upset for local residents.
As a resident of Low Meadow I am particularly concerned about the issue of access to any future development of this site as this may encroach on the land owned by the Low Meadow Management Company. As such I will be seeking legal advice regarding a possible caveat giving legal access for future developments of this proposed site.
