Please explain your reasons
Both these parcels of land consist of steep banking. In Valley Drive we experience flooding every time there is a heavy downpour. SLDC have tried adjusting the drains but they just cant cope, frankly the thought of a further 302 houses horrifies me. At the time of writing there is no road access to either of these sites. The infrastructure barely copes with the households already in existence.

This area has been heavily developed in recent years and the remaining green space much reduced. We much enjoy what little open space we have left and saved hard to afford the house we presently own. 302 affordable homes would have a detrimental affect on the value of our and others' properties.

We are constantly being told there is a huge unemployment problem and the housing market is in decline. The estate agents are unable to sell the stock they currently have on their books. Who are these people who will be able to afford to buy and maintain these new houses?

I would urge you to please not to proceed building on this land and by doing so destroying our way of life.
