Outcropping limestone pavement continues for c. 5m into the field. In 1987 a visiting friend with a PhD in 'Limestone Weathering' informed me that underneath the soil of R672M would be more limestone pavement which just happens to have been overlain by soil since the last ice age. This is probably worth investigation before the land is re-designated.
Both Kents Bk & Allithwaite POs/shops are over 1 km away. The vast majority of residents to a new development will use their cars to access all services with a correspondingly high carbon footprint. Local residents have a high average age. I would prefer to see denser housing within walking distance of existing amenities.
