Please explain your reasons
I fully understand need for new houses; however I am very certain present infrastructure at Swarthmoor cannot cope with any further expansion. Pennington School will be logical place to send children for new residents who are going to live at proposed site in map 41 ref RN109M. My kids went to Pennington School. At present there is no more capacity at this school to accommodate any more children.
Furthermore I cannot see Swartmoor community centre can handle such increase in population. New 130 houses will offset delicate balance of this right size community, without mentioning effects on environment.
I am sure commonsense will prevail, and local authorities will resist pressure from developers. If need for new housing scheme is inevitable, I suggest any new development should be closer to bigger school where there is capacity to expand.
