Please explain your reasons
Too many houses being planned. The infrastructure cannot handle it. The land is prone to flooding at the least bit of rain. The schools will not be able to cope. UVHS is already over subscribed and class sizes far too big. Most of the schools in the area have been in special measures already and filling them up with more children and less teachers will be an absolute catastrophe and result in the schools failing all over again. If we cannot educate the children properly there will be nobody to run the country in the future. This sort of development has been turned down in the past as excessive so why try and do it now. The loss of farmland will be a disaster and not help the town at all.
Do you think that your area needs new or improved community facilities? If so, what sort of facilities and where?
Please explain the types of improved and/or new community facilities your community may need in the next 15 years
If you build the number of houses proposed then there will be no land left to build any community facilities on. Look at the problems already with trying to get childrens facilities on Central Drive in Ulverston. What is likely to change in the next 15 years, apart from a bloody great eyesore of an extension to Croftland Estate.
