Please explain your reasons
I strongly oppose these areas for any more development on the grounds that there simply is not any existing utilities that are up to any more expansion. I understand there would need to be major investment and upheaval to provide gas, water and electricity.
There is a major breech of EU regulations already with allowing the building of the new units, due to the landfill site not 100 metres away, somebody seems to have overlooked this and the tip is still very active producing methane gas 24 7,with the way the limestone is formed the gas may one day escape.
This should have a big impact on any development of any kind in e33 as this is only 30 metres away at the closest point. The quarry is now a self established wildlife sanctuary with some of the most protected birds of prey in the country in there.
All the land in R129M is also heavily populated with wildlife of all kinds.
Some of the existing houses have no mains sewers and the top water goes into a stream.
With the limestone formation in heavy rainfall water comes out in natural springs in existing properties and in R129M. If a lot of this area was paved the water situation would be apalling in bad rainfall.
The extra traffic the development would bring just would not be possible to be taken by Beastbanks or Gillingate; it only takes a traffic light malfunction now to cause total gridlock ,imagine another 100 cars trying to muscle in on this mayhem
