Please explain your reasons
Major flooding problems because it is on the first hill the prevailing westerlies hit as they get funnelled up the Kent; any further housing will increase pressure on the Sandy Bottoms flood defences. Major traffic problems already which will be exacerbated. Appleby Rd already very dangerous for pedestrians. Similar plan previously rejected at independent enquiry

No. The area is already over-used. In the last 15 years there has been massive over-development in NE Kendal. Planning Boards need to use planning guidelines, not develop areas just because they're away from the public eye
