Please explain your reasons
This entire development plan is unwanted. Kendal as already grown too big such that the infrastructure, particularly roads, cannot cope. Further urbanization will lead to increased flooding risk. South Lakeland relies on tourism, this massive development will lead to a loss of the character which attracts tourists. Who wants this housing? So-called "affordable homes" will still be too expensive and all the new home will be taken up as hitherto by retirees from outside the area, further burdening local hospitals, etc.
