Please explain your reasons
The Parish Council believes this site is unsuitable for continual access by large or heavy vehicles which must either come through Holme or use narrow lanes with fragile verges. It should only be used for employment activities which can be supported by cars and small vehicles.

Employment
Oppose
Please explain your reasons
The Parish Council does not support the use of this land for employment due to its poor access, limited infrastructure and the wish to keep a green gap between the old cottages on Clawthorpe Lane and the existing Clawthorpe Hall employment site. There is also extra capacity available at the existing Clawthorpe Hall site.

Please explain your reasons
The Parish Council does not support the use of this land for employment purposes due to a lack of definition of the nature of the employment site buildings proposed for this visually important gateway to the village.
The Parish Council recommends this site as being more appropriate for housing including affordable housing.

The Parish Council does not support the use of this land for housing development due to the very poor access roads to the site through Boontown especially for the 23 houses envisaged. Additionally in order to achieve road and pavement access land will have to be used from the existing playground.
The Parish Council supports development of a smaller site which would be appropriate for smaller numbers of affordable or sheltered housing by using the adjacent telephone exchange land when the need for a large exchange building has gone. Increased traffic flow through Boontown would be limited and there is direct access to the site without infringing on the playground.
The Parish Council also supports a mixed housing development which sympathetically redevelops the site of the Royal Hotel. This would include affordable housing.

Notes on the map that has been provided
The Parish Council supports development of a small site, previously identified as PS20, which would be appropriate for smaller numbers of affordable or sheltered housing by using the telephone exchange land when the need for a large exchange building has gone. Increased traffic flow through Boon Town would be limited and there is direct access to the site without infringing on the playground.
The Parish Council also supports a mixed housing development which sympathetically redevelops the site of the Royal Hotel. This would include affordable housing.
The Parish Council also recommends that site EN14M be allocated for housing including affordable housing rather than employment as currently proposed.
The site locations are explained above so a map has not been sent but can be produced if required.
