Please explain your reasons
Yes we need more homes for locals, as long as they are for local working people, but to be build on good arable farm land would be lunacy. I am a catering manager and my suppliers are telling me that they are finding it increasingly difficult to source some foods, this is because countries hit by natural disasters are holding onto the foods that they would normally export, and now our companies have to compete with China, which is pushing up prices and could create shortages. We are going to need our farm land to feed our own growing population.
