Please explain your reasons
We have previously responded about the triangle of land inbetween Oxenholme village, Oxenholme Road and Burton Road in 2008 and 2009 so we are not sure why we are having to do so again when the plans appear to be basically the same. This land needs to be protected from development for all the reasons we and the Triangle Opposition Group have previously highlighted. We do not want to say the same thing again.
We also objected to the Rugby club plan to build on that site in 2009. Your plans show the area of land wanted by the rugby club as green gap but we believe the only reason the rugby club haven't yet moved is due to difficulties selling their current site. So you are perfectly happy for them to build on green gap? This would effectively leave only one green gap field between Oxenholme and Kendal if all the proposed developments go ahead. The rugby club plans need adding to your maps and taking into account.
