Please make your comments in the box below: You may wish to consider whether: • the area proposed for designation as a neighbourhood area is appropriate, and; • the body making the neighbourhood area application (Burneside Parish Council) is the appropriate body to represent the proposed neighbourhood area.

2. Ms Paula Allen, Lake District National Park Authority   :   9 Jun 2016 09:52:00
I am writing to confirm that the Authority is content with the above application. We look forward to working with you as the draft Neighbourhood Plan progresses, and are happy with the Council being the lead authority in this instance.

Yours sincerely

Paula Allen
Strategy Planner
3. Messrs B J & C J Ridyard & Balderstone, Lane Foot Farm Management Company Ltd   :   20 May 2016 16:31:00
We believe that the proposed designation for the neighbourhood area is NOT appropriate and that it SHOULD include the entire parish of Burneside.

We believe that the Burneside Parish Council is the appropriate body to represent the proposed neighbourhood area.

4. Mr Alan Hubbard, National Trust   :   9 Jun 2016 09:37:00
National Trust has no objections to the proposal to produce a Neighbourhood Plan for the Burneside Area or to the boundary that is proposed.

However, it is noted that (as with the adjacent residential development proposed to the north of Kendal) the Trust is the beneficiary of covenants relating to land around Lane Foot Farm towards the southern end of the proposed Neighbourhood Plan Area.

Accordingly the Trust wishes to be kept informed about the progress with the preparation of the Neighbourhood Plan and in particular any emerging proposals that may be affected by, or have an impact upon, the Trust’s covenant interests.

We therefore request that the Trust’s interest is recorded and that we are notified at appropriate stages of the progress of the Plan and given the opportunity to review and respond to relevant issues and proposals.

Thank you for your email notifying us of the intention to designate the above as a Neighbourhood Area.

United Utilities does not wish to submit any formal comments at this stage, however wish to be kept informed and consulted with further should this designation be approved.
