Join Friends of the Lake District on this unique sponsored walk across the tidal sands of Morecambe Bay to raise money to protect Lake District landscapes.
The Morecambe Bay Walk takes you across the largest expanse of tidal mudflats and sand in the United Kingdom. This landscape is constantly moving and shifting so you will be led by the new official guide Michael Wilson.
The roughly 7.5 mile walk is suitable for anyone who is comfortable walking over uneven terrain for 3 to 4 hours.
