I grew up in Huddersfield, in the heart of the textile industry, and spent many childhood days playing amongst the derelict mills that are our industrial heritage. After travelling extensively, I returned to my hometown and the rugged and remote beauty of the Pennines. I spend my days revisiting my childhood haunts, capturing the atmosphere and drama of the Pennine landscape, its social and industrial heritage and the lives of the people who lived and worked here.
